- Coordinated Polishing and Waxing Kit: Includes 3-inch wool, foam and microfiber pads, 2 backing plates, 2 drill adapters, a clay mitt, 4 hand wax applicators and a towel. Give your car a refreshed look with one convenient, streamlined detailing routine. Organize your paint-care routine from surface preparation to polishing and wax application. Drill, compounds, polishes, wax and clay lubricant are not included
- Choose the Pad for the Task: Use W1 wool or H1 firm foam with a suitable compound for cutting, M2 medium foam to refine the surface, and P3 fine foam for finishing. You do not need to use every pad. Start with the least aggressive combination and test a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding. Different pad options help address varying levels of paint imperfections
- Compact Size for Targeted Work: The 3-inch pads help you work on smaller painted areas, including bumpers and painted mirror housings. Use the included adapters and backing plates with a compatible drill. Check chuck fit and secure all connections before use; follow the pad and polishing-product instructions
- Prepare the Surface Before Polishing: Wash and rinse the vehicle first, then use the clay mitt with a suitable clay lubricant to help lift bonded surface contaminants. Keep the working area lubricated and rinse the mitt frequently. Inspect the clean surface before choosing your polishing pad and compound
- Apply Wax, Then Buff the Residue: Use the F4 soft waffle pad for machine application of a compatible wax or sealant, or use the hand applicators to spread a thin, even layer. Follow the wax instructions for drying and removal. Use a separate, clean MF5 microfiber pad for final buffing and wax-residue removal, then inspect with the towel. Do not reuse a polish-loaded pad for wax removal
