12 CLEANING POINTS ON ONE SCRAPER: Carbon on the bolt tail and firing pin is hard to reach with a brush. The edges and notches of this scraper line up with the parts of a disassembled bolt carrier group: bolt tail inside, outside and shoulder, bolt waist, bolt lugs, bolt face, firing pin (small and large diameter), cam pin, two interior carrier surfaces and the area behind the extractor.
MADE FOR THE BOLT CARRIER GROUP: The notches are shaped for BCG parts, so you scrape each part with a matching profile instead of a pick or screwdriver tip. It is a bolt carrier group scraper only and does not clean the bore.
SCRAPE, DON'T PRY: Disassemble the bolt carrier group first. Hold the matching notch against the part, then push-pull or rotate as shown on the 12-step card in the box. On heavy buildup, let solvent soften the carbon before scraping. The blade is made to scrape, not to lever parts apart.
STAINLESS STEEL BLADE, FOLDING COVER: A one-piece stainless steel blade swings out of a black pivoting cover on a 6-lobe pivot screw. Folded, the cover closes over the lower half of the blade so it rides in a cleaning kit or tool bag. The AltitudeCraft name is laser-etched on the cover.
1/4-INCH HEX BIT DRIVER, WHAT'S IN THE BOX AND 1-YEAR WARRANTY: The tail of the blade has a 1/4-inch hex opening that holds 1/4-inch hex bits (bits not included). In the box: 1 AltitudeCraft carbon scraper, model AC331, and 1 illustrated cleaning card. Covered by a 1-year AltitudeCraft manufacturer warranty: if the scraper breaks or fails in normal use, we replace it.
